Good Morning/Nite Dazees,
Project 001 is finally in production, which should feel like a finish line. Instead, I’m already designing six to eight more pieces (loosies) and blueprinting Project 002. I always feel like Nap Pack is behind and that I would need to relaunch every 12 months when I dropped something. But honestly that's because after I dropped something I would disappear and kill all the motion we created.
I'm not doing that stupid shit anymore. You can't make something, go quiet, then come back months later expecting everybody to care again. I don’t need another relaunch. I need a rhythm. Big projects can take their time executing, but Nap Pack can’t disappear while they do.
The new plan is simple: Keep designing. Keep dropping. Keep communicating.
If I'm not working a project to completion, then I'm trying to get you a loosie as consistently as possible.
Lucky number this week: 12
Today, August 12th, there is a solar eclipse. The moon is blocking the sun in a few places like Greenland, Iceland, northern Russia and Spain. Even the sun got something trying to block it, just make sure you not out here blocking your own blessings.
Proceed with caution to the most important 729 words of your week.

Late Night Bytes

When Costco decided to drop their now viral Twice-Baked Cinnamon-Filled Croissants, they must have just looked at a perfectly good croissant and decided it needed cinnamon cream inside, streusel on top, powdered sugar, and a second trip through the oven. I respect the lack of restraint.
Still Hungry?

Old El Paso is fighting to stay in the snack game with their Three Cheese Stuffed Nachos. Mozzarella, cheddar, Monterey Jack, and peppers inside a crispy shell. Basically a pizza roll that hooked up with a passport bro.

I’m so happy Dunkin’ bringing back the Iced Beverage Bucket. Forty-eight ounces of iced coffee is probably enough to send anyone into a diabetic shock but who cares, I need this monstrosity added to my cup collection.

Time Destroyers

Nipsey Hussle & Bino Rideaux drop their new album, PROLIFIC this Friday. Nipsey was not just a rapper. He was a blueprint for what it looks like to build something real in your own neighborhood, on your own terms. The culture has been missing him since 2019 and that hole has never really closed. I can't wait to spend my weekend listening to this on repeat. R.I.P. Nip
Still Bored?

HBO’s new Green Lantern series Lanterns premieres Sunday. The trailer looks less like a superhero show and more like two cops investigating a murder in Nebraska. DC better not fumble the ball on this one.

Dave Portnoy’s new book Cancel Me If You Can has been sitting on my radar. As I build Green Wednesdaze into a media company, I want to see what Dave did to turn a gambling newspaper into the madness that became Barstool Sports.

Call The Plug

This week I’m asking my plugs for something a little harder to secure.
Zalympix just released its Michigan Judge Kits. I put the order in. Last year I got a couple of the entries. This year I want the whole damn box, all 27 strains.
Last year's Zalympix proved that Michigan's indoor is on par with Cali's. This year we need to see if Michigan can prove it wasn't a fluke. I believe it, but I've got to see for myself, so I'm praying to the plug gods for a touchdown.

It’s Getting Weird

There's a conspiracy going around that Earth is going to lose gravity for seven seconds today at exactly 10:33 AM EDT. Two black holes + Gravitational interference and all we got is a secret NASA program called Project Anchor doing nothing to keep us from floating away.
I went looking for the source. One of the earliest versions I could find traces back to an Instagram account that has also claimed to work at Google, a morgue, a crematorium and hospice, and to be a psychiatrist and criminologist. Either the most overqualified person alive or somebody who has been lying on their resume.
NASA says Project Anchor is not real. The seven seconds are not real. What is real is today's solar eclipse, which is apparently all the internet needs to invent a government conspiracy by lunch.
I'll report back if I leave the ground.
