Good Morning/Nite Dazees,
Welcome back to Green Wednesdaze, the weekly survival guide for the hungry, bored, stoned, and paranoid.
How is your “me time” looking these days?
Every morning I disappear for an hour or two to walk.
On my walks I pray. I strategize. I organize. And sometimes I cry.
It is probably the most honest part of my day because nobody needs anything from me yet. No emails. No decisions. No pretending I have everything figured out.
I think everybody needs some version of that.
Maybe yours is ten minutes of journaling before the rest of the house wakes up. Maybe it is the gym at 5am. Maybe it is sitting in your car in a parking lot before you go inside somewhere.
Everybody needs one part of the day where nobody else gets access to them.
No boss. No family. No group chat. No obligations.
Just you figuring out what the fuck is actually going on in your head before everybody else starts adding to it.
That’s your time. Don’t let anybody take it from you. More importantly, don’t keep giving it away. Own that shit!
Lucky number this week: 10,475
That was my average daily step count in October.
Apparently all that praying, crying, plotting and overthinking adds up.
Proceed with caution to the most important 703 words of your week.
